Church group retreats
at The Perch.

You can use local caterers for meals, or our BBQs at the barn for lunches and dinners. Many cabins have full kitchens with all the basic kitchen supplies.

We are proud to have hosted many Christian retreats that come back to The Perch annually because the venue works so well for them.

A venue beloved for its down-to-earth, rustic charm and simplicity.

Within easy travel from Los Angeles, the Inland Empire and San Diego, The Perch’s meeting hall — fondly known as “The Barn” — is perfect for planning and gathering as well as for prayers and group sharing.

We have tables, chairs, a projector and screen, BBQs, and a fire pit for s’mores at night.  Many groups don’t want to pay extra for bells and whistles that aren’t needed.  Meetings and interactions are what’s important and The Perch provides the best backdrop for this.

The property is great for groups to gather together but also provides a serene environment for personal reflection.

SHANNON M. / LA CHURCH OF CHRIST

Our church group has used the Perch every year for the past 4 years as the host of our Staff conference! We absolutely love it here! We typically bring 31-45ish people when we come and it never feels like a hassle. Sandy is really responsive and the planning process is smooth every time! Our people love how cute and cozy the cabins are, the barn and patio are perfect for our main sessions, and some of the cabins are big enough for break out classes. The location is amazing as well. You feel removed from everything when you’re on the site, but you’re actually so close to a bunch of great local dining spots. We always plan a trip to the lake during our conference since it’s only 7-10 mins away. It’s so hard to find a place that can house individual families while keeping everyone together, thats another reason why we love coming to the Perch. Every new staff member that comes to the retreat is always impressed with this site. We plan to come back every year!

I love every cabin here! They all have their own unique charm while maintaining the same aesthetic. Each room can fit a specific need and the kitchens and appliances are fully stocked. I don’t really need to bring much.

We love to go to lake Gregory or Lake Arrowhead. Lots to do and Laker Gregory has a floating water park in the summer!

The Perch is very versatile. There’s space to set up a screen for an outdoor movie night, we have great worship around the fire pit, I could totally see this being convenient for a wedding venue, as well as a great location for a big family reunion. There are a lot of Airbnbs near by as well, in case you need more space. If you walk past some of the cabins, you can see over the side of the mountain.

W. V, - FOOTHILL CHURCH

I recently had the pleasure of hosting a retreat at The Perch, and it was a delightful experience.

The Perch is nestled in a beautiful natural setting, providing a serene backdrop that adds to the overall ambiance. Each room is unique and exudes a cozy charm, making you feel right at home. They are clean and equipped with everything you need for a wonderful stay.

The staff at The Perch are exceptional. They are accommodating, kind, and incredibly responsive, always going above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. Working with them has been a joy, and their warm hospitality made our experience even more special.

We look forward to returning each year with our group, knowing that The Perch will provide us with the perfect retreat. Highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone seeking a peaceful getaway, especially for a group!

CHEY W. - ST MARK’S EPISCOPAL CHURCH

Saint Mark's vestry had a wonderful time at The Perch this weekend.  Martha and Cesar were just awesome and the accommodations were lovely.  It was the perfect blend of nature and feeling apart but still close to dining and activities.  I really appreciate you helping us.  Thank you again!
