At The Perch, you have the freedom to hire your own caterer but we also will gladly recommend experienced local providers. They can accommodate all different diet restrictions (gluten free, vegan, keto, etc.) and meals can be anything from continental breakfast to boxed lunches and buffets to plated formal dinners.
You can also cater from one of the fine local restaurants or deli counters, have fabulous pizza delivered, or hire a food truck. We also can hook you up with mobile BBQ and mobile bars.
Most of the cabins at The Perch have full kitchens and there are 2 BBQs by the barn, for meals you may want to take care of on your own.
-
Aside from the many beautiful hikes all over our area, there are fun things to do for every age group. Check out Local Activities here.
-
How about a relaxing massage in the privacy of your own cabin? We can line that up for you, as well as yoga, forest bathing, reiki, sound bathing, pilates and more. Check out this list of wellness activities on the mountain.

Altogether, our 12 cabins include 21 bedrooms and 27 beds. At maximum (counting two people in a large bed), we can fit 46 people. Since our grounds can hold up to about 80 people, we allow larger groups in warmer weather. However, more than 40 people requires porta-potty rental, which can be placed in a strategic, out of the way spot.
Check out this grid for a breakdown of the accommodations.

The Perch does not have driveways or paved paths between the cabins. The entire grounds are covered with wood chips. Sandals and high heels are not optimum. The grounds have lots of little hills. However, cabin 1, 7, 8, and 9 do not have steps and can be accessed with a wheelchair. And one can be driven from the cabin to the barn or other spots on the property.

Yes - bring your pets. The county requires that you keep pets on a leash and we ask you to please pick up after them and not let them on the beds. Other than that, dogs love to visit The Perch. There is an additional charge of $50 per pet, per stay.
-
Our retreat packages include about six hours of facility support during your weekend. If you need additional services from our property manager, handyman or cleaner, the charge is $50 per additional hour plus $15 each additional trip. Or, you can also hire a property manager to be on site for the entire day, for $420 per day.

Our cabins provide the basic amenities: coffee, tea, creamer, shampoo, soap, body lotion, towels, etc. All cabins have coffee makers. Cabins with kitchens (all but cabin 3 and 4) have basic pots and pans, dishes and silverware. See the cabin page for photos of each cabin.
Please ask us if you need an iron, pack & play, or other amenities that may not already be in your cabin. Please let us know if you need any help at all.

You can add some special things to make your stay even more special, like a bottle of wine or charcuterie. You can have your fridge stocked with the things you’ll need before you arrive.

The Barn can seat up to 40 people for a presentation. And 30 to 35 can be seated at tables inside the barn for a meal. Outside the barn, another 35 to 40 can be seated in the BBQ area. In warmer weather, tables can be set in the open field for upwards of 85 people.
We have six 6-foot folding tables and 30 folding chairs. There are 16 light weight, stackable outdoor chairs and tables that can be also used in the barn.
The barn also has a projector and large screen for presentations. If you’re showing movies, we’ll take out the vintage style popcorn maker!
There are portable desks in several cabins that can be brought to the barn if you want to create a an open office or shared work space.
We have 16 yoga mats and blankets.
Currently, county codes prohibit us from having a bathroom in the barn. So people use the lavatory in their cabins. Porta-potties are recommended if you have people attending that are not staying overnight on the property.
There are ample 220V outlets throughout the inside and outside of the barn, and string lights add a special touch.
The barn has a gas fireplace inside and an enclosed gas or wood fire pit outside with outdoor furniture around it. We also have three patio heaters for cooler weather. We have heat and AC in the barn but we tie up a shade sail so it doesn’t get too hot outside.
There is ample parking around the barn, for cars, trucks and trailers.
